Trustees report library event, mitigation plan survey, Lilli Pad updates and records-management work

The trustees used their reports to brief the board on upcoming community events, procedural reviews and facility updates.

Trustee Mary Finch announced, "There will be a Puzzle Contest at the Library on November 22nd at 1:30," and said she completed the annual review of Justice Court records and will conduct monthly reviews going forward. Trustee Jessica Stevens said the fire company plans holiday parties (one on Dec. 20) and encouraged residents to complete the Phase 2 Steuben County Mitigation Plan survey she reviewed in a virtual meeting.

Trustee Tina Carson reported the Planning/Zoning Board held an organizational meeting and set a tentative schedule for the first Wednesday of each month when meetings are necessary, with a meeting scheduled Dec. 3 at Village Hall. Trustee Chris McCann reported that water was shut off Friday for the Lilli Pad, described plans for a 10K run beginning in Savona and finishing at Campbell School to benefit the Lilli Pad and other benefactors, and said continued bathroom work will depend on budget.

Mayor Brian C. Scott reported that the Record Management Grant submission was reviewed, that he met with Amanda Marsh and that a grant packet has been submitted; he said a resolution is the last outstanding item and parcels involved may require surveys or title searches.
