Maintenance supervisor details extensive HVAC and electrical repairs at county facilities

An emailed operations report from Maintenance Supervisor Kevin Flock, read into the record, described multiple facility issues and repairs the county addressed in July.

Flock detailed a main breaker panel that was arcing when a submersible well pump started; contractors replaced the panel after arriving onsite and the building was without power during repairs. He also described HVAC service work — including a failed freeze sensor replaced in the library unit, condensate pump repairs in an office and freon recharges on several heat pumps — and listed contractors engaged for repairs (Lighthouse Electrical, Long Building Technologies, Precision Door, Sheet Metal Specialties). He reported irrigation damage from recent trenching that required coupler replacement and wire splicing to restore control zones at the Resource Center.

The operations email noted parts orders, temporary outages while work took place, and that several repairs were completed; Flock said he would not attend the meeting due to active service calls. Commissioners accepted the maintenance reports as presented.
