North Fond du Lac board presents 2036 mission and launches cultural playbook for staff practice

The board reviewed a new long-range mission and a cultural playbook intended to guide daily staff practice and advance district goals. Dr. Munoz said the district’s purpose is "to create a place of excellence where individuals want to be" and described core beliefs the district will use to shape behavior and professional development.

A presenter read the mission target aloud: "By 2036, the school district of North Fond du Lac will significantly exceed expectations with student and staff engagement above 80%." The presentation framed the playbook as a practical set of monthly strategies — including a five‑point mental‑fitness check, monthly reflection and a 30‑day 'playlist' of techniques — that staff will document and bring back to administrators for follow-up.

The superintendent said the playbook ties to staff evaluation and educator effectiveness standards and is intended to move the district from aspirational language to concrete habits: regular reflection, evidence collection and small action steps. Board members asked about cadence and tracking; Dr. Munoz said materials and recorded tutorials will be available in a Google Classroom for staff to review and that administrators will collect evidence through scheduled reflections.
