Commission approves strategic development initiative in concept amid split views on waterfront jetty ideas

A community speaker representing aquaculture interests pressed that any project must avoid harming clam leases and local shellfish production: “We want to make sure that our livelihood…is protected and not going to be impacted by anything that's done,” the commenter said.
