Superintendent: PowerSchool data breach 'all consuming'; district reports about 500 incoming calls

"The recent PowerSchool data breach has been all consuming for the past few days," the Superintendent said during remarks to the board.

District staff member Brian Kray told the board that, working without assistance from PowerSchool, he was able to verify that some district data had been compromised. The district also reported that its offices received approximately 500 calls in the high school office and significant additional calls to the district office, with smaller volumes at other school buildings. Board members were told the district will pass along further specifics when PowerSchool provides them.
