Committee blanks numeric cap in SB3334, preserving legislative approval route for superintendent positions

Education officials and complex area superintendents testified on SB3334 about a proposed cap on legislatively approved superintendent-level positions. The committee voted to pass SB3334 with the agreed amendments; several members recorded reservations on evaluation and supervision provisions and requested language in the committee report to preserve current legislative positions and explain the blanking approach.
