I reviewed the draft articles for spelling, clarity, chronology, framing, misinformation, misidentification, out_of_context excerpts, quantitative precision, process clarity, context clarity, agency clarity, question emphasis, omission, bias, and duplication.

Findings and fixes: 1) Statutory citation (spelling/misinformation) — The city attorney’s spoken citation in the transcript read "government code section 54,956.9," which appears to be a transcription error. Fix: corrected to "California Government Code section 54956.9" in both articles and noted the source segment in provenance. Severity: medium. 2) Speaker-name inconsistency (spelling) — The transcript alternately recorded "Yamani" and "Yamane." Fix: standardized to "Council member Yamane" consistent with the initial roll-call spelling. Severity: low. 3) Attribution risk / role mapping — Some numeric transcript channels answered roll call and later spoke as public commenters; to avoid misidentification, I attributed quotes only to speakers who self-identified or were introduced by the clerk. Where identification was unclear, I used functional labels (Clerk, City Attorney). Severity: medium. 4) Framing of allegations — Draft language risked implying verification of public commenters' accusations. Fix: revised wording to clearly present allegations as assertions by commenters and not council findings. Severity: high (for fairness/accuracy). 5) Chronology/clarity — Ensured public comments are clearly identified as occurring in the public-comment period and separate from the council's closed-session discussion and report-out. Severity: low.

No instances were found of incorrect quoting (quotes are verbatim from the transcript segments listed), and no draft statements inventing factual details beyond the transcript remain. All identified issues were addressed in the revised articles.
