Commissioners approve Deeter Ridge final plat; release county interest in Westfield Estates Phase 6 bonds

Subdivision planner Elise Foster presented Deeter Ridge Estates and asked the board to sign the final plat. Foster told commissioners the subdivision sits adjacent to the freeway and includes 10 buildable lots and one open‑space lot; the plat had been delayed while staff worked through new water laws that affected the project.

"This is 10 buildable lots and 1 open space lot," Foster said. Commissioner (speaker 6) moved to approve the plat; the board approved it by voice vote. The board then voted, separately, to approve Resolution 2026‑55 to release the county's interest in surveyor/construction bonds for Westfield Estates Division 6 after staff reported that construction and bonding for that phase were complete and that buildings had already started in the phase.

The Westfield Estates action followed staff confirmation that hard‑cost work in that phase had finished and bonding requirements were met; staff noted the resolution pertains to release of interest in the construction/surveyor bonds rather than any additional county financial outlay.
