Sioux Lane warehouse receives conditional approval after environmental clearance

Planner Willie Brown introduced the Sioux Lane warehouse (MIN26-000053), a proposal for a 15,600‑square‑foot warehouse facility on about 1.6 acres in a heavy‑industrial zoning district. The TRC conditionally approved the development order after staff confirmed outstanding environmental comments had been resolved and the applicant addressed prior staff notes.

Jamie Eubanks of Jenkins Engineering said outstanding comments had been cleared and that the applicant expects to move forward. Staff noted that the project proposes a private septic system requiring state permits; the TRC recorded the need for applicable state approvals as part of the permitting process. The committee voted to conditionally approve the development order, subject to minor clerical updates to the staff report and verification that any pending state permits are in order.
