District posts Rendezvous elementary project page; plans CMAR procurement and behavior-policy review

An administrator briefed the board on the new Rendezvous elementary project and said the district has launched a web page to host site plans and photos. "We do have a web page for that. It is fremont25.org/page/new-elementary," the administrator said, and added they would also share the link by email for the board and the public.

The administrator said the district will appear on the school facilities commission agenda to pursue CMAR (construction management at risk) and that the design advisory committee will meet in late September. The district is accelerating work on behavior programming, plans to meet this week with administrators and will present materials at the next board work session. The administrator also said some policy changes are being reclassified so that new and substantial policies will follow a three-reading approval process while minor changes may be one reading; behavior-policy revisions will be reviewed with the district attorney to ensure alignment with state statute.

Board members asked about upcoming meetings and thanked staff; no binding action was required during this item, but the administrator signaled upcoming agenda items (CMAR, design advisory meetings and policy approvals) that will return to the board for formal consideration.
