Three Rivers board approves administrative designations, legal retainer and auditors

The Three Rivers Community School District Board of Education on July 13 approved a slate of administrative designations and professional contracts intended to finalize the district’s fiscal and administrative operations for the coming year.

By roll call vote the board approved designation of the district’s depositories and banks for investments and, separately, designated the Director of Electronic Finance & Business as the Electronic Transfer Officer (ETO). Those motions were moved and seconded by board members and passed unanimously, with a recorded 4-0 vote in favor (Members Baker, Daniels, Ogreen and President Nowak; Members Allen, Awe and Patch were listed as absent). The board also designated the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and Board to post public notices of board meetings and to serve as the Recording Secretary.

The board voted to retain Thrun Law Firm, P.C. to handle personnel, legal negotiations and contractual matters and to appoint Gabridge & Company to conduct the district’s 2025–26 annual audit. Both motions passed by the same unanimous roll call. The meeting minutes show each administrative designation and contract was approved by a 4-0 vote.

Board members who moved or supported the motions included Linda Baker and Ross Daniels; President Erin Nowak declared each motion approved. The votes and the motions are recorded in the official minutes for the July 13 meeting.
