Band leader Austin Evans presented an FJM prototype uniform that is machine-washable, adjustable and comes with a 10-year guarantee; the board discussed ordering 85 uniforms and logistics for sizing, deposits and possible drum major uniforms.
Construction superintendent reported footings near completion, slab pour expected by month-end and structural steel arrival the week of Feb. 23; the board approved a $84,173.75 contract for a six-classroom Gravette High School addition.

Board discussed an enrollment decline of roughly 5–8 students a month, questions about state grade-card weighting and graduation-cohort tracking, and asked staff to provide more detailed weighting and growth information ahead of January work sessions to guide program and staffing decisions.
