The library advisory committee reviewed a proposal to eliminate routine overdue fines, heard data showing 10,000 expired library cards with fines (about 80% Farmers Branch residents), discussed how a bookmobile might be funded, planned a holiday book drive and sorting dates, and scheduled the fine-free proposal as an action item for the January meeting.
