Spearfish School District board meeting included elementary and high-school student presentations, a first reading of many policy revisions, a superintendent update on facility and safety plans, and an extended discussion of the governor's budget proposal and proposed educational savings accounts (vouchers). Several routine motions (appointments, consent agenda, minutes, bills) were approved.
