The Gainesville mayor and council met Oct. 15, 2024. The council opened with an invocation and brief remarks, approved minutes and three consent/legislative items — ratifying a perpetual easement at 514 Davis Street, accepting Calvary Creek Parkway as a city street, and fixing numbering in the city code related to personal transportation vehicles — each passed unanimously before the meeting was adjourned.
