At the Dec. 16 Committee of the Whole meeting, Lansing City Council members heard an audit committee report and 2025 audit plan, approved acceptance of a $4.3 million SAFER grant to hire 15 firefighters, authorized outside counsel to join proposed insulin-pricing litigation, advanced a transformational Brownfield Plan for New Vision Lansing, and recessed into a closed session on multiple pending lawsuits.
