Shelby County Board of Commissioners held a regular meeting with ceremonial recognitions, a lengthy consent agenda and more than a dozen budget, grant, and ordinance items. The session featured an extended, contested debate and public comment on a joint ordinance to partner with the More for Memphis initiative; votes on capital projects including funding for a new Frayser high school; and multiple personnel and grant actions and votes.
