Dallas Police Department held a press briefing about an officer-involved shooting on Jan. 7 in the 11,000 block of Joaquin Drive; two officers fired four rounds, striking a man who remains in stable but critical condition. The recovered weapon was later determined to be a replica air pistol; the officers have been placed on administrative leave and the incident is under investigation.
