The State Bond Commission convened Dec. 12 to approve routine bond and loan requests, review multifamily housing revenue bond applications and cost-control measures, receive updates on refunding transactions, and decide whether to place three Bossier City charter propositions (including prospective term limits) on the March 29, 2025 ballot. The commission approved a slate of bond and loan items and voted to place the Bossier City propositions on the March ballot over the objection of the treasurer.
