Nueces County Commissioners Court convened a budget workshop to hear presentations from district courts, the sheriffs office, the district attorney, district clerk and veterans services on proposals to reduce jail overcrowding, staffing requests, and budget reclassifications. No funding votes were held; requests will be considered during the budget deliberation process.
