Ripon City Council met and heard public comments about community preparedness, approved routine minutes and appointments, considered revisions to a legal services indemnification clause, postponed a public hearing on a resolution of necessity to Feb. 11, and spent substantial time reviewing the lighting district’s finances and options for long-term funding. The council also recognized its retiring city attorney and welcomed his successor.
