Heath City Council met Jan. 14, 2025. Public comment dominated a multi-hour hearing about a proposed 158.7-acre residential project (Perry property), with many neighbors urging denial over lot size, traffic and tree loss. Council approved several municipal items on consent, accepted two large PATH donations for Town Center Park, adopted two land‑use text amendments strengthening anti‑monotony and open‑space standards (with a measurement clarification), denied both zoning applications for the Perry project without prejudice, and approved an economic development package for a proposed restaurant in The Reserve (Lot 1A).
