Bolivar City Council met for its regular September meeting. Mayor McTisick outlined a three-part “Safe Streets” initiative; council heard committee reports, approved a loan for a new residential truck, declared police vehicles surplus and appointed two members to the historic zoning commission; resident Bob Williamson presented a detailed stormwater/sinkhole concern on East Market Street and pressed the city to seek TDOT action.
