MassDEP officials and local partners discussed shifting state food-waste efforts toward smaller generators, enforcement of food-waste disposal bans, and local collection and food-recovery initiatives underway in Franklin County, Arlington and the City of Boston. Presenters described program results, capacity limits, grant funding and next steps for expanding residential and small-business diversion.
