The Transition 2024–2025 committee held an executive-view session Dec. 10, 2024 to follow up on earlier testimony about the Department of Correction and the Aqueduct & Sewer Authority. The panel reviewed a UTICORP letter about medical-review credentials, confirmed cancellation of a Salinas security contract, and pressed the authority on a smart-meter rollout projected to raise billed consumption by about $92–95 million annually.
