The Duval County School Board held a special meeting Sept. 5, 2024, to adopt final budget resolutions, approve the superintendents annual financial report and set 2024-25 millage levies (required local effort, nonvoted discretionary, voted discretionary, capital outlay). The board approved each item, generally by 5-0 votes, after brief staff presentations and limited member questions; there were no public speakers.
