Laredo ISD Board of Trustees met July 18, 2024, in the Amber Urie Boardroom to open the 2024–25 school-year preparations, honor a veteran, hear public comments urging employee pay raises, approve routine consent items, discuss uniforms and safety gear procurement (item 3L) with an amendment to conduct an OSHA risk assessment, receive a near-complete update on Valdez High Schoolrelocation (temporary site at 1700 Chicago St.) and approve several professional hires following an executive session.
