Laredo Independent School District Board of Trustees met Oct. 17, 2024, and approved a $1,700 one-time employee performance payment contingent on completion of a required training module, voted to lift the district hiring freeze, authorized a new executive director position for college/career/military readiness and passed a resolution urging the Texas Legislature to restore and increase school funding.
