Citrus County commissioners met at a legislative planning retreat to set federal and state priorities, hear briefings from the countyand outside lobbyists, and reach consensus on top appropriation requests including the Inverness Airport business park, a Halls River multiuse path and a new fire station. The board also discussed broadband, disaster funding, truck-weight policy and septic-to-sewer/water-reclamation priorities.
