Meeting called to order; brief invocation asking wisdom for the new board, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mr. Lambert. Chair welcomed attendees and asked for a motion to approve the agenda.
Transylvania County Schools board met for a regular monthly meeting: members opened with the pledge, recognized student and staff accomplishments, approved a package of policy updates (including technology and concussion guidance), passed a budget amendment, authorized payment of a tax bill for a forfeited property (Confederate Lane), approved Rosman High retaining-wall repairs (option 3) and discussed the district strategic plan and facilities issues including an oil tank clean-up.
