Bayonne City Municipal Council on Jan. 2, 2025 approved one-year extensions for solid waste and recycling contracts with A&L Disposal LLC after public comment and debate over missed holiday pickups and whether the city should have rebid the services. Council also approved a slate of routine administrative resolutions including a temporary budget, cash-management plan, insurance and bond-authority actions.
