Loudon City Council met for its monthly meeting; councilmembers heard public comment on a proposed rezoning on River Road and voted to table the request pending more information. The body approved several routine items including a property purchase, equipment surplus, budget amendments and moved forward an ordinance updating historic-zoning rules.
