Chair Virginia Harger called the commission to order at 6:04 p.m., announced the meeting would be held by Zoom and live on YouTube, and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Shelton Planning & Zoning Commission met by Zoom on Jan. 8, 2025. Commissioners considered a state property purchase referral for Constitution Boulevard West, multiple sign and site-plan applications (including a Trader Joe’s at Fountain Square), a business-occupancy request for a downtown restaurant (Roaring Boar), an accessory dwelling unit at 33 Hilltop Drive, and two zoning/regulation proposals (24-18, 24-19). Several applications were approved and two land-use text/zone-change items were denied or tabled for further review.
