At its only December meeting, the Clay County Board of Commissioners discussed a looming state budget shortfall and urged coordination with the countys legislative delegation; commissioners also highlighted possible federal infrastructure stimulus opportunities and formally thanked outgoing Supervisor of Elections Barbara Kirkman. The board then moved into an executive session on labor negotiations.
