The Clay County Board of County Commissioners met Sept. 26, 2023 to hear presentations, adopt a fiscal 2023–24 budget and millage rates, approve several grants and rezonings, adopt a parks ordinance banning smoking/vaping and feeding wildlife, and approve an inventory of county properties as potential affordable-housing sites. The board also heard a demonstration of two traffic-safety pilot technologies for the Wells Road corridor.
