Depoe Bay City Council held its final meeting of the year. The council approved a $95,000 Oregon Department of Energy grant agreement with Aptum to research standby green-energy systems for City Hall and set a Jan. 25 public demonstration on hydrogen fuel cells; it also passed a resolution directing staff to notify FEMA and follow Oregon land-use process before adopting FEMA-related rules, awarded a water-main replacement contract, and handled routine project and holiday planning.
