The Lewis Central Community School District board met Dec. 16, 2024, held a public hearing and approved the 2025–26 school calendar, accepted a package of facility planning contracts and bond-related site-preparation work, approved an expanded high-school program of studies with new dual-credit options, and revised a conflict-of-interest policy to permit limited spouse/emergency hires. Several facility and maintenance contracts (including a sewer repair and architectural services) and a three-year software renewal were also approved.
