Alamance County held its Dec. 2, 2024 commissioners meeting to swear in several officials, present a plaque to outgoing Commissioner William Thomas Lashley, elect leadership for the coming year, appoint an interim tax assessor to handle pending appeals, approve the consent agenda (including a second reading for the Lifestar Ambulance franchise), and hear public comments on a local shooting range and calls for sheriff body cameras.
