The board publicly addressed the July removal of library trustee Mary Basilia—amending minutes to remove the word “misconduct,” issued apologies, and later censured Supervisor Monica Gary; approved holiday schedule adjustments pending staffing guidance; received updates on schools capital needs and a $3.5M emergency repairs appropriation; heard VDOT winter-prep briefing and other routine reports and public comment including opposition to a proposed Buc-ee’s site.
