Falls Church Planning Commission reviewed three major items: a site-plan public hearing for the proposed Yacini Jewelers (application 2023-0138) that was deferred to Dec. 18 after stormwater and design questions; a detailed work session update on the Quinn senior-living mixed-use redevelopment (no vote); and a work session on accessory-dwelling-unit (ADU) zoning changes that drew wide debate over owner-occupancy, short-term rentals and utility costs.
