Mayor Cartwright called the meeting to order, led roll call (Council members Cortez, Youngblood, Knisley, Ring present) and the council unanimously moved to adopt the agenda after a motion and second.
The Loomis Town Council met to honor late Treasurer Roger Carroll, accept Town Manager Sean's resignation and appoint a replacement, fill the elected treasurer vacancy by appointment, adopt the FY 2023–24 operating budget, and hear presentations on SB 1383 compliance including a Pioneer Community Energy proposal for biomass attributes. Several ordinances to comply with state waste and building rules were introduced; one public hearing was postponed due to Zoom problems.
