Board President called the regular meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. Superintendent Anthony Mays called the roll to establish quorum; trustees in attendance were named on the record.
The Alief ISD Board of Trustees met Jan. 23, 2025, and approved a one-time 3% salary supplement for eligible employees, accepted the district's 2024 audit, approved targeted improvement plans, adopted a corrective action plan after a TEA review of suspensions of homeless students, and delegated 2025 procurement-method authority to the superintendent. The board also heard a schematic presentation for a $9 million Crump Stadium press-box renovation focused on ADA access and CTE space.
