Stephens County Planning Commission held a public hearing on rezoning and variance requests, approved two smaller land-use items, and voted to recommend tabling a major planned unit development (PUD) rezoning amid extensive resident opposition and outstanding questions about traffic, utilities and stormwater. The commissioners will consider the PUD at the Dec. 13 Board of Commissioners meeting.
