Summit County Council discussed options to close an estimated 2025 budget gap — including a rural hospital (tourism impact) sales tax, truth-in-taxation property tax increases, fee adjustments and other revenue strategies — and gave staff direction to develop proposals; the council also handled behavioral-health contracts, a tax-exempt housing application, several budget/program votes and other routine actions.
