Quarquay City Council on Oct. 2, 2023 opened a formal process to review and update the citys home-rule charter, hiring a charter consultant and directing the creation of a 13-member Charter Review Commission; the council also approved a special-use permit for a second-floor roller-skating rink in downtown Crockett and completed routine business including an appointment, a construction award, and payment of invoices.
