The Orland City Council met Feb. 18, 2025, and spent much of the evening on three substantive issues: aesthetics and siting of a new 1-million-gallon water tank, awarding a contract to plaster and restore the community pool while increasing ball-field partnership funding, and reviewing Caltransconceptual designs for State Route 32. The council also discussed a proposed new city hall site and tabled that decision for further study and public input.
