NOTICES
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held on the 10th day of February 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Pickens Room located at the Pickens County Administration
Building, 1266 East Church Street, Jasper, Georgia, before the Planning Commission of Pickens County, Georgia.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss:
1. A request from Stephanie Lynn Ray to rezone a 1.5-acre portion of a 13.47-acre tract, known as parcel 036 047, located at 345 Davis Road West, from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Residential (RR). The purpose of this request is to subdivide existing home from parent parcel to build another single-family dwelling.
2. A request from Richard H. Paulsen for a Conditional-Use Permit on a 14.3-acre tract, known as parcel 067D 090 002, located at 131 Reavis Road, to allow for special events in
addition to the existing equestrian facility.
3. A request from Abass Al-Saeedi to rezone a 19.84-acre tract, known as parcel 053 006, located on Allred Mill Road, from Agriculture (AG) to Estate Residential (ER). The purpose of this request is to develop a five-lot subdivision.
The recommendation of the Planning Commission will be brought before the Board of Commissioners on March 17th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
