County commissioners met to approve routine business, lift a burn ban, declare two sheriff vehicles surplus, and approve a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to place a school resource officer (SRO) with Baird ISD; the SRO vote followed extended discussion about costs, vehicle use and liability and passed with two commissioners opposed.
