The McMinnville Streets & Sanitation and Parks & Recreation committees met prior to a regular McMinnville City Board meeting. Committees approved a single paving bid from Tinsley and declared several pieces of equipment surplus. The Park Theater was authorized to contract a touring bluegrass act with a $10,000 guarantee. At the full board meeting the council formed a tourism advisory committee, deferred several appointments, awarded a CDBG sewer rehabilitation contract for $839,173.60 and adopted an updated electrical code (NFPA/NEC 2020) on second reading. Department reports covered a new storybook trail, a Vanderbilt-backed family health coach program, recreation center equipment and a temporarily out-of-service decorative fountain.
