The Bastrop Planning and Zoning Commission on Dec. 19, 2024 approved a commercial replat for the Sandero (formerly Pearl River) site contingent on a city MOU and TxDOT approvals, advanced several land‑use code changes (ADU rules and reduced impervious‑cover ratios) and discussed a new public space/community enrichment fund. The commission directed staff to develop credits for rainwater collection and other water‑conservation measures and tabled one item for a future meeting.
